Providing an AI-assisted service still requires information to be processed so the system can respond to a question, structure information, or perform another requested function. That operational processing is different from using customer content to train an AI model.

Drift’s approach is to process only the information needed for the relevant purpose. Avoid sharing unrelated personal information in a chat or document.

“Not used for training” does not mean that no processing takes place, that all information is anonymous, or that original records are automatically deleted. Storage, retention, deletion, and customer rights are addressed separately in Drift’s privacy information.
